At Denby CE (VA) First School we encourage all pupils to engage in an active lifestyle by promoting inclusivity in sport. We do this by:

1) Encouragement of participation in a range of sports during PE lessons and playtimes.

2) Supporting pupils in the acquirement of  skills to compete in sports competitions organised through school and the community.

The Federation Cup!

As the teams walked through the hall, they were all determined to win The Federation Cup. They all looked raring to go with their shin pads, socks and kits.

They all played well with close scores and ties and sometimes even Denby V Denby, which turned out to be a draw 1 all.

When it came to deciding the winner it was an impeccably hard pick, but the winner of this year’s Federation Cup was Thurstonland!!

But although they may have won this year, there’s always next year to come . . . .
