Safeguarding

If you have any concerns or worries about a child please contact a member of school staff.

At Denby School, our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Minogue.

In her absence, we have two Deputy DSLsMrs Berry and Mrs Capner

These are the key people in school to contact should you have any concerns or worries; however, all members of staff are trained to support you should you need to approach them.

Please also take a look at our e-safety page.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is defined as:

  • protecting children from maltreatment
  • preventing impairment of children’s health or development
  • ensuring children are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care.
