Ethos and Worship Committee
Hello, we are the Ethos and Worship Committee, we have a pupil representative from Year 1 to Year 5. It is our role in school to hold meetings and organise events to ensure that our Christian values are embedded into school life.
The Ethos and Worship Committee have been busy in school preparing a special Christingle Collective Worship for all of our school community. All of the children in school have contributed with their wonderful singing to 'Sing Christingle.' As we have not been able to visit church this year as usual, please share with close family members who would have normally attended the service. We hope you enjoy!
We are the Ethos and Worship Committee. Our committee meets every few weeks to look at how we, and you, can contribute towards the ethos of our Church School. We recently planned a whole school theme day around the Easter Story. See below for photographs. Please use the ideas box at the bottom of this page to submit your suggestions and thoughts.
We planned a whole day of exciting learning around the Easter Story. We thought of activities that would help everyone learn best and then we introduced the day to the whole school by going around the classes inviting them to join in with us. We also invited the Ethos and Worship Committee from Flockton School to visit for the afternoon. It was so interesting to find out about the roles and responsibilities of another Ethos and Worship Team!
